Domaine de Vauroux Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre is a refined and expressive white wine from one of Chablis’s most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. Reserved for high-quality sites with excellent exposure and soil conditions, this cuvée is crafted from 100 % Chardonnay grown on the famed Kimmeridgean limestone soils that define Chablis’s distinctive minerality. The vineyard lies on the right bank of the Serein River, close to the Grand Cru slopes, giving the wine depth, structure, and intense mineral character. Domaine de Vauroux uses careful viticulture and traditional vinification—gentle pressing, controlled fermentation, and an extended period on fine lees—to highlight both purity and complexity.
