Description
A 100 % Pinot Noir blend from several parcels across Côte Chalonnaise (notably La Fortune, La Digoine, Les Montots, and sometimes Santenay Passetemps). Made by Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée‑Conti fame and his nephew Pierre de Benoist, who commit to organic farming since 1986. Grapes are hand-harvested, with around 25 % whole-cluster fermentation using indigenous yeasts, aged in older French oak barrels for 10–12 months.

Bright, perfumed red berries—cherry, raspberry, redcurrant—with hints of violet and gentle spice.
TASTE:
Elegant, medium-bodied; silky, layered red fruit, lively acidity, refined tannins, and subtle earth/mineral notes. Cranberry zest and forest-floor nuances add complexity.
