Delheim Wines is a family estate located in Stellenbosch, South Africa, on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain. The Delheim Cabernet Sauvignon is part of their premium red wine offerings. The wine is crafted to express classic Stellenbosch Cabernet character—robust, structured, yet elegant—and is matured in oak to add complexity and balance.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby red, showing good concentration and clarity.

NOSE:
Aromas of blackcurrant / cassis, plum, with tobacco leaf, cedar / cedar wood, some vanilla and oak spice. Also classic “lead pencil shavings” or graphite notes often associated with Stellenbosch Cabernets.

TASTE:
Full-bodied, with ripe dark red and black fruit flavours. There is good acidity that gives freshness.

FINISH:
Long, savoury finish. Balanced interplay of fruit, oak, and tannin; lingering cassis/blackberry and spicy/earthy edges.
