Constantia Glen THREE is a classic red blend crafted from three esteemed Bordeaux varietals: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The 2022 vintage comprises 54% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 18% Cabernet Franc. The wine undergoes fermentation and maturation processes tailored to enhance its complexity and integration. It is matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, with 20% new, 50% second-fill, and 30% third-fill barrels. The wine is lightly filtered prior to bottling to gently mellow the rich tannin structure, resulting in a wine that showcases elegance and a round, velvety texture.
