Cheval Quancard is a historic Bordeaux house established in 1844, known for producing classic, approachable wines that express the character of Bordeaux terroir. The Réserve Bordeaux is crafted from vineyards on clay-limestone and gravel soils, planted mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (roughly 80/20 depending on the vintage). The wine typically undergoes traditional vinification and is aged for several months in French oak, which enhances its structure and aromatic complexity.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep ruby red with purple highlights.

NOSE:
