The vintage shows incredible decadence and opulence for the vintage with dried meat, black berry, blueberries and hints of mushroom. Full body, very polished silky tannins and a chewy finish. Lots of richness for the vintage. Persistent palate.

Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Deep garnet-purple with inky, almost opaque hues and violet glints.
NOSE:
A complex aromatic bouquet of crème de cassis, plum preserves, violets, rosehip tea, dark chocolate, cedar, graphite and potpourri of spices—all layered over notes of underbrush and iron ore.
TASTE:
Full-bodied and richly textured, with layers of ripe black fruits and ultra-fine tannins that are succulent yet seamlessly integrated. There's a thread of spicy cedar, black pepper, mint, tobacco and graphite.
FINISH:
The finish is long, fresh, slightly savory, and mineral-laced.
