Description

For what is essentially a second wine, generally blended from the estate's younger vines, this is a solid effort in a not-so-easy vintage. Vanilla and cinnamon from barrel-aging play a role hedre, but there's also plenty of juicy, plum-tinged fruit. There's ample body and texture, capped off by supple tannins and a lingering finish. Drink now–2022.

COLOR:
Deep garnet red with ruby highlights.

NOSE:
Complex aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, layered with notes of garrigue herbs, liquorice, black pepper, leather and subtle spice.

TASTE:
Full-bodied and structured with a rich, velvety texture. Concentrated dark fruit flavours are supported by fine tannins, well-integrated oak and balanced acidity.

FINISH:
Long, powerful and elegant with lingering notes of spice, herbs and dark fruit.
