COLOR:
Deep ruby-red with vibrant violet or purple hues.

NOSE:
Rich fruit character, especially ripe red and black berries (black cherry, blackberry), possibly with hints of spice and fresh fruit lift. Some freshness in the nose that keeps it appealing.

TASTE:
Medium to medium-full body. The Merlot gives softness, round fruit, juiciness; the Cabernet Sauvignon contributes structure, some tannic backbone and a touch of darker fruit or slightly more austere edge. Tannins are moderate, young but approachable. Fruit predominates, with perhaps some spice or earthy undertones.

FINISH:
Smooth, fruity finish; pleasant, not overly long, good value. Best consumed while fresh, although it can develop a bit more complexity if allowed a few years (around 3-4 years) under good storage.
