Description

Château Haut Claribes is a Bordeaux estate producing wines under the Bordeaux AOC. The vineyards are planted mainly with Merlot, along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the classic right-bank blend. The terroir is composed of clay and limestone soils, which bring fruitiness, freshness, and supple tannins to the wine.

This is typically a Bordeaux Supérieur–style red: approachable, fruit-driven, and versatile, designed for earlier drinking (within 3–7 years of the vintage), but with enough structure to age a little further depending on the year. Vinification usually involves stainless steel tanks for primary fermentation, with partial aging in French oak barrels to add complexity.
