A benchmark estate in Sauternes, Château Guiraud crafted this 2014 Premier Cru Classé with certified organic viticulture embarked in 2011 (with practices in place since 1996).
The blend is 65% Sémillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc, hand‑picked over four sequential passes between 17 September and 29 October in pursuit of perfectly botrytised grapes.
Fermented and aged in 90% new French oak for approximately 18 months.

NOSE:
Intensely aromatic—with notes of honeycomb, beeswax, honeysuckle, apricot and quince blossom, plus candied ginger, lime zest, and orange peel entwined with petrol-like botrytis nuances.
TASTE:
Bright and refreshing on entry, with vivacious acidity balanced by luscious fruit.
FINISH:
Flavors echo marmalade, quince, dried apricot, tangerine, pineapple, mango, ginger and bittersweet almond, wrapped in a silky, vibrant finish.
