A vintage Bas‑Armagnac distilled in 1998, Château de Laubade uses estate-grown Baco, Colombard (plus some Ugni Blanc) grapes, each single-distilled and matured for a minimum of 15 years in Gascony oak barrels. Bottled at a traditional 40% ABV, this structured yet refined spirit showcases the estate’s meticulous craft.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Warm amber with inviting depth.

NOSE:
Rich, layered aromas—plum, candied stone fruit, brown sugar, apricot cobbler, allspice, ginger, cayenne, and a whisper of citrus peel.

TASTE:
Supple and round, notes of toasted hazelnut, vanilla, demerara sugar, dried apricot, nectarine, and mellow white flowers, with gentle tannins.

FINISH:
Elegant and lingering—hints of oak spice, subtle smoke or menthol, creamy coconut, and warm cinnamon throughout.
