A single-vintage 1997 Bas‑Armagnac from Château de Laubade’s renowned "Millesimes Celebration" range. Distilled on-site from estate-grown grapes and matured at least 15 years in coopers’ Gascon oak barrels. Bottled at 40% ABV in 2013, this release offers a perfect balance of maturity and youthful freshness.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Fragrant and elegant, with crystallized clementine, toffee/caramel candy, beeswax, apricot, crushed peach, candied orange, a hint of floral perfume, vanilla, warm baking spices, and a trace of pepper.

TASTE:
Fruit-driven, precise, with a mineral backbone and lively acidity. Flavors echo the nose: soft toffee, candied mandarin, apricot syrup, warm caramel, light floral, toasted oak, and vanilla.

FINISH:
Long, refined, with lingering candied citrus, floral hints, oak warmth, and vanilla complexity.
