This exquisite 1994 vintage is part of Château de Laubade’s celebrated “Millésimes” collection—single-year distillations from estate-grown Baco, Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Folle Blanche, matured for at least 15 years in on-site Gascon oak—bottled at 40% ABV. Harvested from the terroir-rich Bas‑Armagnac region, Laubade emphasizes organic practices, full traceability, and in-house coopering to ensure depth and character.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Shining mahogany with warm reflections.

NOSE:
Starts with vibrant fruit—Reine Claude plum, dried citrus (tarte Tatin, orangette), and floral hints. Underneath are layers of toasted oak, tobacco, cigar box, dark chocolate, and subtle peat-smoke.

TASTE:
Silky, juicy, and well-balanced. Flavours of dried yellow peach, marmalade, crème brûlée, flaky pastries, with warming spices and a whisper of roasted oak and peat.

FINISH:
Long and elegant—lingering notes of plum, dark chocolate, butter, candied fruit, nuts, and subtle tobacco.
