Description

Château d'Aiguilhe is crafted predominantly from Merlot (typically 80–90%) with a complement of Cabernet Franc (10–20%). The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo meticulous sorting before fermentation in temperature-controlled wooden and concrete vats. The wine is then aged for 15 to 18 months in oak barrels, up to 50% of which are new, on fine lees. This process yields a wine that harmoniously combines power and freshness, expressing the strong personality of its terroir.
