Description
Château Cap de Moulin is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru estate located in the right bank of Bordeaux. The vineyard covers around 10 hectares on clay-limestone soils typical of the appellation, giving both structure and freshness to the wines.
The blend is classic Saint-Émilion: predominantly Merlot (≈70–80%), complemented by Cabernet Franc and sometimes a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinification is done in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by maturation in French oak barrels (often 12–14 months, partly new oak).
This Grand Cru is known for its supple style, showcasing ripe fruit, balance, and early approachability, while still having the structure to age gracefully for a decade or more.
