Description
Charles Haussmann Brut is a non-vintage Champagne made in Hautvillers, near Épernay, at the heart of Champagne. It is part of the prestige range by Nathalie Haussmann. The wine is crafted from the three classic Champagne grapes — Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier — with about 30% reserve wines included for complexity and consistency. It undergoes traditional secondary fermentation in bottle with extended lees aging (minimum 2 years) before release. The dosage is around 7.5–8 g/L, placing it squarely in the Brut category.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Pale golden yellow with fine, persistent bubbles.
NOSE:
Expressive yet elegant, with aromas of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), white flowers, and green apple. Secondary notes of brioche and almond from lees contact add depth.
TASTE:
Fresh and balanced, with crisp acidity and flavours of citrus, pear, and stone fruit, layered with light pastry notes. The texture is smooth with a creamy mousse, giving it both vivacity and finesse.
