Description
Castello di Meleto, a historic estate in the Chianti Classico region (Gaiole in Chianti), produces its sparkling wines as part of its more modern portfolio of “Neo-Classics” and “Borgaio” collection. The estate covers large wooded and vineyard areas with vines on galestro, alberese and calcareous marl soils.
Tasting Notes
COLOR:
Pale straw-yellow colour with fine, persistent perlage (bubbles).
NOSE:
Fresh, fragrant and fruity; aromas of green apple, pear, white peach, acacia blossom and a hint of citrus zest.
TASTE:
Crisp and clean, with refreshing acidity and delicate fruit flavours — mainly apple, pear, and subtle floral notes.
FINISH:
A fine, creamy mousse lends elegance, leading to a dry, mineral-tinged finish typical of Tuscan white grapes.
