The Berry Bros. & Rudd Jamaica Monymusk 14 Year Old is an exceptional single cask rum from the renowned Monymusk (Clarendon) distillery in Jamaica. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023, this rum showcases the distinctive characteristics of Jamaican high-ester style rum. It was aged in a Hogshead cask and finished in a single Madeira cask, resulting in a limited release of 376 bottles at a cask strength of 54.5% ABV .

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
A vibrant bouquet of ripe tropical fruits, including lychee and orange zest, complemented by subtle notes of paraffin and wax paper, characteristic of high-ester Jamaican rums.

TASTE:
The mouthfeel is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of dried tropical fruits, nuts, and a touch of vanilla. The Madeira cask finish imparts a delicate sweetness, balancing the inherent funkiness of the rum.

FINISH:
Long and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruits and a hint of spice, leaving a memorable aftertaste.
