Description

This wine is produced with Tinto Fino grapes that are over 20 years old. They all come from our estate La Planta, right in the heart of Ribera del Duero, and lends it name to the wine. A clayey limestone soil over unbroken bedrock within one meter down the surface and an altitude of about 900 metres of altitude give La Planta wine its special features. The ageing in French and n oak casks during a period of six months produce a mature and elegant fruity wine.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Deep purple color with ruby hues.

NOSE:
Dark fruit, plum blueberries and some red fruit.

TASTE:
Plenty of Oak and vanilla. Silky smooth, with a nice long finish.
