Produced by Bodegas Amézola de la Mora, located in Torremontalbo in Rioja Alta, Señorío de Amézola Reserva is their flagship Reserva wine, made from a blend of ~85% Tempranillo, ~10% Mazuelo, and ~5% Graciano. Surrounding their winery are 60 hectares of estate vineyards, allowing full control from vine to bottle. It is aged in oak barrels—typically 22–33 months depending on vintage—with a combination of 60‑70% American oak and 30‑40% French oak, followed by extended bottle ageing before release.
Tasting Notes

Deep ruby to garnet, with subtle signs of development on the edge.
NOSE:
Elegant and refined—aromas of fresh and confit blackberries, raspberries, plum, forest spices, leather, tobacco, and gentle hints of licorice and toasted coconut or vanilla from oak aging.
TASTE:
Smooth and well‑balanced with fine-grained tannins, bright acidity, and a complex blend of red and dark fruit flavors (cherry, bramble, damson), spiced with cinnamon or forest spices, leading to notes of cocoa and smoke.
FINISH:
Long, polished, and flavorful with lingering fruit, spice, and earthy nuances.
