Description

Iñigo Blanco Reserva is a distinctive white wine crafted by Bodegas Amézola de la Mora in Rioja Alta, Spain. Made from 100% Viura, sourced from the estate’s María Antoniana vineyard, planted in 1981. This single-parcel wine undergoes barrel fermentation and 5–6 months of ageing in 100% new French oak, followed by several years of bottle maturation before release.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
Bright lemon-yellow with greenish highlights.

NOSE:
Expressive aromas of peach, apricot, clementine, green apple, and subtle almond or honeyed nuance.

TASTE:
Full-bodied and textured with lees richness, crisp acidity, and pronounced minerality. Dominant flavors include stone fruit (peach, apricot), citrus rind, marzipan, white pepper, and hazelnut, finishing with saline tension.
